Regulations on the FacultyThe Faculty of Engineering was established on January 1, 2024 by joining the Faculty of Civil Engineering to the Faculty of Innovative Mechanical Engineering Technologies (Order No1745 of 18.12.2023).
Educational and methodological support of the educational process
The educational process is organized at the faculty in accordance with the requirements of the educational standards of the Republic of Belarus. Lectures, as a rule, are conducted by leading teachers — professors, associate professors of departments. In most lectures, multimedia tools are used (presentations, demonstration of video materials). Educational laboratories have been created at the faculty for conducting laboratory classes. To implement a practice-oriented approach to training, the bases of industrial enterprises are used in laboratory and practical work.
Since 2012, in the hall of the 3rd and 5th floors, an area for independent work with wireless Internet access has been equipped (for using the educational portal of the Faculty of Engineering, the website of the faculty).
An educational portal with an electronic educational and methodological complex is actively used among students. The electronic CMT contains a theoretical block (regulatory framework, lectures, literature in electronic form), a practical block (methodological developments, tasks for RGR, tests, course design, methodological developments for laboratory and practical classes), a control block (questions for preparing for exams and tests, schedules for course design, regulations on the accumulative rating system for disciplines, self-examination issues, etc.). This database is constantly replenished and updated. Electronic educational and methodological complexes have been developed in all disciplines.
