He was born in 1985 in Grodno.
In 2005, he graduated with honors from the Grodno State Professional Electrotechnical College named after Ivan Schastny with a degree in Technical Operation of cars with the qualification of a mechanical engineer.

In 2010, he graduated with honors from Brest State Technical University with a degree in Technical Operation of automobiles with the qualification of a mechanical engineer.
In the period from November 2008 to June 2010, he was retrained at the Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel at the Brest State Technical University, specializing in Economics and Management at an industrial enterprise, with the qualification of an economist-manager.

Linnik D.A.’s career is connected with work as a trainee teacher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Technical Operation of the Yanka Kupala Grodno State University since 2010; as a teacher – since 2011; as a senior lecturer – since 2013; as an associate professor – since 2021.

In 2012, he completed a master’s degree in Transport at the Belarusian-Russian University with a master’s degree in Technical Sciences.
In 2016, he completed postgraduate studies at the Belarusian-Russian University in the specialty «Wheeled and tracked vehicles» with the assignment of the scientific qualification «Researcher» in the field of technical sciences.
From 2013 to 2015, he worked as the deputy executive secretary of the admission committee of the GrSU named after him. The Yankees of Kupala.
From October 2014 to May 2016, he worked as the head of the GrSU campus. The Yankees of Kupala.

From 06/09/2015 to 06/27/2017, he successfully completed training at the «School of the Head» of the GrSU. Yanka Kupala (Order No. 481 dated 05/04/2015).On February 18, 2021, he defended his dissertation on «Improving the efficiency of damping low-frequency vibrations in the driver’s seat of wheeled vehicles» at the Dissertation Defense Council D 02.18.01 at the Interstate Educational Institution of Higher Education «Belarusian-Russian University».On September 22, 2021, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, it was decided to award the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences to Linnik Dmitry Alexandrovich.

He was awarded a diploma of the GrSU named after him. Yanka Kupala for high achievements in professional activity and in connection with the 74th anniversary of the University’s formation (02/17/2014), thanks to the rector of the GrSU. Yanka Kupala for active participation in the creative life of the university and the organization of New Year’s events (01/27/2015), Diploma of the Department of Education of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee for achievements in scientific, methodological and teaching work, high results in research activities (02/03/2015), Diploma of the GrSU named after Yanka Kupala for fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities and in connection with the Day of Belarusian Science (01/31/2018); gratitude to the State Public Organization «Belarusian Peace Foundation» for active participation in the activities of the Foundation, strengthening friendship and harmony between people, the implementation of peacekeeping programs and charity events (03/25/2022).

In 2022, he was listed on the Honor Board of Yanka Kupala Grodno State University.He is a member of the republican public association «Belarusian Red Cross Society» and the Belarusian Professional Union of Education and Science Workers.Since 2024, he has been the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

During his work at the Yanka Kupala Grodno State University educational Institution, more than 50 works have been published, of which 19 articles have been published in scientific publications from the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, 1 article in a foreign scientific journal included in the Scopus abstract database, 17 articles in collections of scientific papers and materials of scientific conferences, 15 educational- methodological manuals, 2 patents. There are also 2 acts of introducing the results of research work into the educational process of the Yanka Kupala State University.
